You (the witch or psychic) must give your consumers certain information before they agree to buy from you. We refer to this as pre-contractual information which includes the following:
(i) Your name.
(ii) Your email address (not simply a web form).
(iii) A description of the main characteristics of the goods or services you are offering.
(iv) The price of the goods or services you are offering, including all taxes.
(v) Details of any delivery costs.
(vi) Details of how payments can be made.
(vii) If payment is required in advance, you must supply your full geographic address, a Post Office box address is not sufficient.
(viii) The arrangements for delivery or performance of the service, for example when consumers can expect delivery of the goods or the service to start. The contract should be performed within 30 days unless the parties agree to a different period.
(viii) Information about your consumers’ right to cancel, where applicable.
This applies before goods or services are received by the consumer.
The rules are simple, purchase your spells, charms, psychic readings from websites displaying the name of the person or company who will receive your money, full geographic address, email address, clear pricing and a full explanation of the service or goods you are paying for.
WARNING Do not use websites displaying only a phone number.
