My dears, this forum is my invitation to you all to share a nice virtual pot of tea and slice of good Madeira cake with me and each other, you must imagine that you are sitting with me beside my fire, in my little cottage at the heart of my village, or out at my little tea table in the garden, chattering away to each other over a nice hot cup of tea and my freshly baked Madeira cake and sticky buns.

It is a sad fact of life that people can sometimes be so thoughtless as to be unpleasant to others, something I do not tolerate, and certainly not in this forum. Kindness is free, as I always say. We must all mind our P's and Q's and be very jolly and nice to each other. I hope that no-one will be silly enough to mention in a derogatory manner, anyone else, there must be no squabbling either, we are all good chums here and my hope is that we will all find it very enlightening and entertaining. Anyone who shows any silliness or forgets their manners will be removed from the forum, and I hope they feel very silly indeed.

Now which topic would you like to discuss, with your Madeira cake and tea? I look forward to hearing what all you lovely young people have to say, we older folks must never be too proud to learn from the young, and vice versa.
